NDIS and Other Schemes

We provide occupational therapy to NDIS participants across Melbourne, at home, in the community or via telehealth. We currently accept self-managed and plan-managed participants while we work through re-registration with the NDIA.

Our occupational therapy services can include:

Our team has experience supporting people with physical, neurological, developmental and psychosocial conditions across rehabilitation, aged care and community settings. Depending on the person’s needs, support may include equipment prescription, sensory and cognitive strategies, task-based support, behavioural approaches or therapeutic conversation.

Assessments and reports

These are the referrals we receive most often. Each has its own page with the process, timeframes and costs.

Telehealth

Telehealth is available when appropriate and does not attract travel costs. Existing clients can arrange an appointment directly with their therapist, or contact our administration team on 03 9069 2106.

Funding and fees

Our NDIS fees follow the current NDIS pricing arrangements, and we bill for time spent providing each service. See our funding and fees page for typical service times, access report costs and the other schemes we work with, including Medicare, DVA, TAC and WorkSafe.

Where it suits the plan, an allied health assistant or support worker can help deliver an OT-designed program, supporting continuity while managing costs.

Common questions

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Our NDIS registration has lapsed and we are working through re-registration. That means we can currently accept self-managed and plan-managed participants, but not NDIA-managed participants.

Can you help me apply to access the NDIS?

Yes. Access reports are generally capped at $450. Where a full report is not required we can provide targeted assistance at $180 per hour to keep costs down.

How long do NDIS reports take?

Typical times are five to ten hours for a functional assessment, three to four hours for an assistive technology application, two to three hours for a progress report, ten to fifteen hours for a complex home modification or SIL/SDA report, and fifteen to thirty minutes for a support letter. These vary with complexity.

Is telehealth available, and does it cost more?

Telehealth is available where appropriate and does not attract travel costs. Existing clients can arrange an appointment directly with their therapist, or contact our administration team on 03 9069 2106.

Can you write SIL and SDA reports?

Yes. We complete Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation reports, which typically involve ten to fifteen hours of OT time.
